Harvard Business School Online partnered with United Planet this year on the third-annual Community Challenge. The goal was to increase engagement in United Planet’s Virtual Exchange Program, which connects schools from around the world to give students the opportunity to engage with and participate in collaborative, experiential projects on issues affecting their community.

Six HBS Online Chapters submitted proposals and, after thorough deliberation, United Planet named the Tokyo Chapter this year’s Community Challenge winner. With so many well-researched proposals, they also named the Challenge’s first-ever runner-up: the Istanbul Chapter.
